SUBTLE INNUENDOS

Dick’s paintings in this series lead you to read between the lines, analyze the subtle innuendos.  In fact, every piece can have a different interpretation. This leads to much deliberations and the conclusion can be varying from one to another.  To  the artist, this makes for interesting and contemplative way to view and discuss his art. Rendered mostly in oil and acrylic on canvas, the subject matter in each artwork will stir one to question the whys, the hows and ifs, provoking a sense of excitement and curiosity.

samba and drumming...

Peter of centre stage school of arts said they could drum for us on 7 Feb afternoon, South American Samba band, possibly some scope for Jazz dance as well... isn't that fun?

10 on board....

wow! we've got 10 on board so far...  still counting i'm sure...  and with palate sensation being so gracious to offer great coffee and cookies to our guests... joyce also roped in pietrasanta to provide some refreshments/drinks...  looks like things are getting shaping up nicely...

Yesterday, 10 Dec, we met up again at Zech's studio... zech, joyce, kelly and i... that was our 3rd meeting todate.... spent a bit of time updating on what's been done, confirmed, yet-to-dos... and what's coming on soon etc... and of coz the array of teas zech has to offer... some snacks...  so, our next meet will be scheduled for 17 dec, 4pm @ zech's again....  thanks zech for opening your studio for our weekly meets...  work to do, so let's get on and hopefully by the next meet, we'll have more things firmed up and more coming onboard to join in our 1st self-organised Wessex Arts Market!  hehehhehe... i'm already 'falling in love with Wessex'....  suzanna/d'Art
